Mr. John Howard, Principal
Mr. Howard has spent the last 5 and half years as the principal at Maplesville High School in Chilton County. Mr. Howard is a resident of Tuscaloosa. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Alabama, has a M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama, and an Ed.S. in Administration from Lincoln Memorial University.

Ms. Lindsey Hall, Assistant Principal
Before coming to Brookwood Middle School, Ms. Hall was a teacher at Flatwoods Elementary and an Instructional Coach at Northport Intermediate.

Mr. Brent Rogers, Assistant Principal
Mr. Rogers graduated from Cordova High School. He played junior college baseball at Bevill St. CC and UAB. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Alabama in 2006 and his Masters in Education Leadership from the University of West Alabama in 2017. He is married to Michele Rogers, the counselor at Huntington Place Elementary. They have 3 children. Seth is a Senior at Tuscaloosa County High, Caleb is a Freshman at Tuscaloosa County High, and Rachel is in 6th grade at Northport Intermediate. Mr. Rogers has spent 14 years as a physical education/health teacher and coach. He has coached football, baseball, basketball, and golf. I am excited about the opportunity to work with a great community, staff, and administration. I look forward to carrying out the vision to make this one of the best middle schools in the state.
