John Howard, Principal
Before coming to Brookwood Middle, Mr. Howard spent five-and-a-half years as the principal at Maplesville High School in Chilton County. Mr. Howard is a resident of Tuscaloosa. He attended undergraduate school at The University of Alabama, has a M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama, and an Ed.S. in Administration from Lincoln Memorial University.

Brent Rogers, Assistant Principal
Mr. Rogers graduated from Cordova High School. He played baseball at Bevill St. CC and UAB. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Education from The University of Alabama in 2006 and his Masters in Education Leadership from the University of West Alabama in 2017. He is married to Michele Rogers, the counselor at Huntington Place Elementary. They have three children, Seth, Caleb, and Rachel. Before becoming an administrator, Mr. Rogers spent 14 years as a physical education/health teacher and coach. He has coached football, baseball, basketball, and golf.
